At Specialty Foot & Ankle, LLC, experienced podiatrist and wound care specialist Christopher Gauland, DPM, FACFAS, provides high-quality podiatry and wound management to people 12 and older in Greenville and Kinston, North Carolina. 

Dr. Gauland was born and raised in East Islip, New York. He studied at East Carolina University in Greenville, earning his undergraduate degree in biology. After graduation, Dr. Gauland obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Gauland completed two surgical residencies –– one at Midwest Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the other at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois. He also received specialty limb salvage training at the Diabetic Foot Center of Lake County, Illinois.

At Specialty Foot & Ankle Center, LLC, Dr. Gauland treats various foot and ankle issues and has special interests in foot and ankle injuries, foot and ankle infections, and complex wound care. Dr. Gauland’s knowledge and expertise make him a sought-after expert in diabetic wound care and osteomyelitis.
